Emma LaVerle Ramones' Obituary
Emma LaVerle "Sue" Ramones, a precious daughter to her loving God, age 85, went to be with her Lord on May 10, 2023. Sue was born on September 24, 1937, to the late Clarence and Emma (Pease) Dodds. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, John Ramones. Survivors include her three children, John D. (Christina) Ramones, Lori S. LaLonde, and Dawn M. (Stephen) Skeen-Carney; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
Over the years, Sue worked at several Muskegon area nursing homes and was a volunteer at Harbor Hospice for over 25 years. She also enjoyed being a city farmer. According to her wishes a private family service will be held with Pastor Garth Hutchison officiating. Interment will be next to her husband John in Mona View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
