Ernee Van Sickle's Obituary
Ernee Van Sickle 83 of Hart, Michigan was called home to be with Jesus on December 8, 2020. She was born in California at home to Joseph and Margarita Munoz on November 8, 1937.
Ernee loved people, going to social events and always dressing up. No matter if she was going to the store or dinner, she always looked nice. A very classy woman. She owned several businesses, an Orange Julius, ChoDee of California, a precut clothing kit for women and children and a home health nursing company. She worked in different places, from the Ontario police department to being the Human Resource Administrator for a casino in Las Vegas.
When she wasn't working she volunteered her time to different organizations including being a Girl Scout leader, community poll voting worker, Rose Parade fund raiser and many other charities. She was also a member of the Red Hat Ladies (her favorite club).
She was very talented and loved sewing beautiful dresses for her two daughters and cooking gourmet dinners.
She was always on the go traveling across the United States. She always had fun no matter where she went and people were always drawn to her. She will be missed.
Ernee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and soulmate, Derk Van Sickle and a daughter, Jennifer Andres. Survivors include three sisters, Cecila, Karmen and Inez; children, Charlotte (Bill) Ryder, David (Lisa) Van Sickle and Danny (Trisha) Van Sickle; 14 grandchildren , 27 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Faith Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Bill Ryder officiating.
