Eugene E. "Gene" Rederstorf's Obituary
Eugene Earl Rederstorf, age 88, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Gene was born in Muskegon on March 13, 1928 to Ural and Beulah Rederstorf. He is survived by his four children, Deb (Kevin) Sprague, Linda Rederstorf, Lisa (Ed) Thiele and Bill (Shanon) Rederstorf, all of Muskegon; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Clair (Rita) Rederstorf of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; grandson, Eric. Gene was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He had retired as a supervisor from the Muskegon County Road Commission. Gene was an avid Muskegon Hockey fan and ticket holder for many years. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Burial at Sunrise Memorial Gardens cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Noah Project.
