Felicitas "Phyllis-Fela"? Alviar, age 94, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on March 6, 1923. Felicitas is survived by her ten children, James (Mary) Alviar, Maria (Joe) Langley, Cesar (Lois) Alviar, Guadalupe Alviar, Danny (Kim) Alviar, Richard (Darlene) Alviar, John (Carol) Alviar, Pancho Alviar, Patricia Chalko and George (Ginger) Alviar; 35 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cesario; 3 sons, Henry, Peter and Fredrick; brother, Juan Calderon; 2 sisters, Rebecca Rivera and Jesusa Vargas. Felicitas was an active mother and homemaker who was very involved with her children and all the neighborhood children. She had a deep love of the Lord. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 beginning at 3:00 PM at VFW Post 7729, 6285 E. Apple Ave in Muskegon. Burial will be at Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
