"FLORENCE MILLER JOHNSON" My Best Friend in Muskegon, MI" - I moved from Muskegon to Miami, Florida in the summer of 1946. We had attended Froebel Elementary, Angel Jr. High & Muskegon Senior High. Florence was at the train station when I left with my mother, sister(Lois) and 6-year- old brother (Vernon, Jr,). I visited Muskegon in 1947 and again in 1951. ( We both had children by 1951) Florence had Larry and I had Ruthann. I never saw her again but kept in touch from time-to-time. Florence had a beautiful singing voice and was requested to sing "solo" parts by the music teachers.
I know that she was loved by her family and she always had a special place in my heart
