Florence Ethel Werner's Obituary
Florence Ethel Werner, 90, of Muskegon MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2017 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont, MI.Born January 20, 1927 to Howard and Ivy Rose (Brandom) Bourne in Bedford, England. Florence was a WW2 war bride that came to the United States in 1945 and took up residence in Muskegon MI. She worked over 50 years as a Nurse Aide at local nursing homes and in home care. During these years she became a United States Citizen and was very proud of this accomplishment.Florence was preceded in death by her Husband William Werner, son Robin Graff, parents Howard and Ivy Rose (Brandom)Bourne, her sister Olive and brother Eric Bourne of England.Florence is survived by her children Janice Pugh of Haslett, MI; Michael Werner of Corvallis, OR; Daughter in law Diane Graff of Fremont, MI; along with 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind special friends Martha Giacobassi, Lucille Riley, Florence Bont and Rhonda Rios.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday June 5, 2017 at the Grant Wesleyan Church Ministery Center, 688 W. 112th Street, Grant, Michigan followed by visitation with the family and luncheon.
