Gail Louise Smith Sotelo's Obituary
Ms. Gail Louise Smith Sotelo, age 72 passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2022. Gail was born to the late Curtis and Mary Smith on November 17, 1950. She was retired from the Michigan Department of Human Services after many years of employment.
Gail leaves to cherish, two sons, Jerome (Marchelle) Smith, Robert Fletcher and a daughter Shannon Fletcher. She is also survived by her brothers, Larry (Era) Smith, Larry (Debra) Smith, Roger Leel Smith Churchwell, Curtis (Gwen) Smith; 10 grandchildren; special niece Lavette Powers; special friend, LaTanya Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with her parents Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Sotelo; three brothers, Ernest, Stanley and Donald Smith, two sisters, Beverely Briggs and Barbara Dooley; and a niece, Latasha Smith.

A visitation with viewing will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon Ave. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
