Gary Lee Sherman 76 was born on November 9, 1941 in Fremont, Michigan to the late Graydon & Virgine (Bettens) Sherman. Gary passed away unexpectedly at home on January 20, 2018. Gary is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith K (Benovic) Sherman; children; Christine (Samuel) Noah of Livingston, Montana; Jeffrey (Melissa) Sherman of Whitehall, Michigan; grandchildren, Autumn (Chadwick) Sage of Montague, Michigan, Wyatt Sherman of Whitehall, Michigan; siblings, Richard (Leslie) Sherman of Grand Rapids, Michigan, James (Jackie) Sherman of Fort Meyers, Florida and Linda Steele of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Gary was a former Police Officer in Muskegon County, and was a retired Insurance Agent. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.
