Gena Lynn Ortiz's Obituary
Gena Lynn Ortiz was born on December 16, 1957 in Muskegon to the late, James E. and Kathaleen A. Forester and passed away at home on January 2, 2016. Gena is survived by her fianc? Mark Rodriguez; two children, Sarah Ortiz of Las Vegas and Scott Ortiz of Muskegon; her ex-husband and father of her children, Jesse Ortiz; granddaughter, Maddy; two brothers, Mark (Karen) Forester, Jim (Vicky) Forester; sister, Leishia (Jack) Hoppus; nephews, Jack Hoppus, Jeremy Hoppus, Mark Forester, Brad Forester; Nieces Jenna VanDuinen Kroll and Emily Forester; special friend Katie Johnson. Gena enjoyed long walks, kayaking, dancing, and scented candles. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Shoreline Memorial Services Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Mark Rodriguez.
