George A. Lyttle, Jr.'s Obituary
George Alexander Lyttle, Jr., age 78, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on May 4, 1941 to George and Elizabeth Lyttle. George is survived by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis; 6 children, Lori (Will) Hansen, Shari (Shawn) Dallo, James (Beth) Hansen, Tina (Mike) Hornack, Mindy (James) Lyttle and Terri Lyttle; 12 grandchildren including, Randee (Tyler) Tidswell, Tamara Perry, Bobby (Erica), Patrick and Marcus (Jackie) Dallo, Kayleigh and Aliyah Hansen; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Searl; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David, Michael and Harry Lyttle.
George was so full of life. He was always smiling and telling jokes everywhere he went. He loved clock repairs, fixing anything, and making all kinds of gadgets. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his world.
George had retired from Fifth Third Bank and had served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Spring Lake where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
