George R. Sampsell's Obituary
George R Sampsell peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday March 23, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. George is remembered by a multitude of friends and family as having a warm and caring nature, helping all whom needed it, and being a large part of the community in which he loved and lived. George also enjoyed fishing, barbeques, music, joking, laughing, car shows, gardening, and riding his bike around Muskegon, MI. George is survived by his two daughters and grandchildren Misty Sampsell (children Tanner aged 14, Sarena aged 7,Brayden aged 3, and Ja"Miah aged 1) and April (Sampsell) Long and her fianc?e Alvin Grimmett. Siblings of George Sampsell, Donald (Amy) Sampsell, Daniel (Barb) Sampsell, Maxine Wright (Bill Iafrate) and Barbara Sampsell (Jeff Pedrin); including many nieces,nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. George is preceded in death by his grandchildren Anthony Sampsell and Skyann Sampsell and his parents, Mother Donna M (Burns) Sampsell and Father George Sampsell.A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Berean Church, 635 Seminole Rd. in Muskegon. The family will gladly accept monetary donations to cover funerary costs and will gladly accept donations to Garden of Hope c/o Sacred Suds, 289 E. Larch, Muskegon, MI 49442, in memoriam of George at this time.
