Geraldine I. Counahan's Obituary
Geraldine I. Counahan was born in Muskegon, on August 29, 1922 and passed away on February 6, 2019 at the age of 96. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Francis Counahan. Surviving are three children, Sandi Telgenhof, Mary (Jim) Anderson, and James Counahan; several grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren; and two cousins. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by four daughters; a grandson, Scott Anderson; and son-in-law, Doug Telgenhof. Geraldine was a longtime member of Mona Shores Baptist Church, and avid card and BINGO player. She enjoyed her book clubs and belonging to the Women's group at church. Funeral services will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services Chapel, on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Husmann officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be next to her husband Francis and her daughters in Lakeview Cemetery, Ludington, Michigan.
