Gerhard K. Ernst, age 91 was born in Kaltennordheim, Germany on July 22, 1928 to the late Max and Elli (Wigger) Ernst and passed away on March 14, 2020. Gerhard is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Gerta Ernst; two sons, Peter (Kristine) Ernst, Andrew (Mary Alice) Ernst; grandchildren, Angie (Ryan) Hallberg, Laura (Jordan) Schwartz, Kayla Ernst, Matthew Ernst, Audrey Ernst, and Grace Ernst; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Connor, and Bryce. Gerhard retired from Amstore after 30 years of service. In his spare time enjoyed woodworking. Private services will be held.
