Gloria E. McMahon's Obituary
Gloria McMahon, age 89, departed this world for heaven on Friday, October 20, 2017. She was born in Sharon, PA on November 8, 1927 to Harold and Mabel Louise Erickson. Gloria is survived by her son, Richard (Jill) McMahon of Norton Shores; daughter-in-law, Karen McMahon of Pittsburgh, PA; three grandchildren, Kristin McMahon of Pittsburgh, PA, Jay Erickson McMahon of Norton Shores and Diana L. McMahon of Norton Shores; cousins, Denise Murrin and Alexis Macey, both of Pittsburgh, PA. Gloria was preceded in death by her son, A. Gregg "Chip" McMahon, Jr. on October 23, 2008 and by her husband, Albert Gregg McMahon on July 24, 1980. She had spent most of her life living and working in the Pittsburgh area. Gloria was devoted to her faith and church activities, having served as a deacon, elder and volunteering with senior citizens. She was a voracious reader and avid user of the public library. She was also fond of walking, and enjoyed spending time with "her" dogs, Jack and Paris. Family services and burial will take place in Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions can be made to Noah Project of Muskegon.
