Gloria Walsh's Obituary
Gloria Walsh age 86 was born on October 12, 1936, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Pantalion and Tomasa (Guitierrez) Reyes and passed away on December 1, 2022. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Wilbur James Walsh, and Edward Buckhout; a son Edward Walsh. Survivors include, five children, Jayne S. Reyes, Pamela J. (Greg) Hughes, Brenda K. (Rick) Cherry, Sandra L. Walsh, James W. (Jackie L. Lane) Walsh; numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Teresa Marsh and Margaret (Mario) Montoya; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Robert (Belinda) Hinojosa; her canine companion, Canilla.
Gloria worked with Head Start with both the Fruitport and Reeths-Puffer School Districts. She was an avid camper and loved working in her garden. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services Whitehall Chapel, 816 S. Mears Ave from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022, with a time of Memory Sharing starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
