Gordon R. Streit Jr.'s Obituary
Gordon R. Streit, Jr. "Gordie" age 68 was born on May 29, 1957, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Gordon R. and Ruthie A. (Letcher) Streit and passed away on July 18, 2025. Gordie is survived by his finance' Laurie Wiseman; children, Nicole (Drew) Gowell, Cassandra (Paul) Orr; grandchildren, Piper and Calum; siblings, Jean (Dan) VanMunster, Dan (Diane) Streit, Tim (Heather) Streit; brother-in-law, Ron Dove; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Gordie was preceded in death by his sister, Vicki Dove.
Gordie is a lifelong resident of Muskegon, he was in the graduating class of 1976 from Orchard View, then served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He was retired from Knoll Industries after 37 years of service. In his spare time Gordie enjoyed going to the casino, U of M and Lions football, bowling, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Gordie's home located at 263 Churchill Drive in Norton Shores, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
