Henry W. Malmquist's Obituary
Mr. Henry Wendell Malmquist, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. He was born in Quincy, MA on August 17, 1926 to George and Selma (Nelson) Malmquist. Henry is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mayme (Kamppinen); sons, David and Paul Malmquist; step-children, Elaine Madison, Steve, Mark, Tom (Deb), Jim (Shelly) and Phil (Gina) Manthei; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy (Kay) Malmquist and sister, Joyce Faulkner; sister-in-law, Linda Malmquist. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Malmquist; sister, Elsa. Henry was a retired pattern maker from CMI Noren Pattern of Fruitport and a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Henry enjoyed singing barbershop music and was active in the Shoreline Chorus for over 50 years. He was a member of the Viking Linne' Lodge No. 57, 3132 Lakeshore Dr. in Muskegon where a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to Linne' Lodge No. 57 Viking Scholarship Fund.
