Herbert F. Dunlap's Obituary
Herbert F. Dunlap, age 68, was born on April 5, 1951 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late James and Irene (Hoffman) Dunlap and passed away suddenly on January 21, 2020. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Jean, Daisy, Christine, and Cherline; a brother, Hurl "Peck" and a son, Herbert Dunlap II in infancy. Surviving are his wife of nearly 20 years, Nancy Jo Dunlap; children, James Dunlap, Michael Dunlap, Angela (Kirt) Jeffries, Becky (Don) Lorenz; grandchildren, Dakota, Jarvis, Phoebe; brothers, John (Judy) Dunlap, and Jesse (Bonnie) Dunlap; several nieces and nephews. Herbert was retired from Sealed Power with over 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially celebrating birthdays. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Real Friend Bible Church located at 2065 W. Giles Road, with Pastor Josh Chittenden officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to DaVita Services.
