Irie Lee Odneal's Obituary
Irie Lee Odneal was born April 26, 1948, and passed away March 20, 2023, at the age of 74.
Irie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Davie Odneal and Annie Mae Odneal, and his infant brother, James Odneal.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Joann Odneal; a daughter, Catrina Odneal; three step-sons, Keith Townsend, Travis Townsend Jr., and Trinity Townsend; three step-grandchildren, Travis III, Lacey, and Olivia Townsend; five sisters, Magnolia (Charles) Young, Doris McCrary, Cynthia Odneal, Brenda (Samuel) Brown, and Regina (Carlton) Young; and a brother, Michael (Chandra) Odneal; along with a host of special niece and nephews.
He retired from working in the foundry in 2013. Irie was a very zealous member of the Muskegon Southeast Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 360 Eric Avenue, Norton Shores, Michigan 49444 with Elder Robert Reed officiating.
