Jack A. Mulder's Obituary
Jack Mulder, 62, passed away January 30, 2022, at the Poppen Hospice Residence. He was born in Grand Rapids on March 17, 1959 to Willis "Bill" and Margaret (Lamper) Mulder. Jack married Melba on December 31, 1988, in Sarasota, Florida. In Sarasota he owned the Classic Wax Blues Bar. Jack had a love for animals and automobiles, fostering and adopting many cats and dogs from area shelters. He used his barn and property to host live blues concerts and donated to Pound Buddies through the years. Jack also formed a group named the Cruise Angels consisting of many owners of vintage and unique automobiles and they cruised through area nursing homes to cheer up the residents. His sense of humor was only exceeded by his giving nature. Jack is survived by his wife, Melba, and his brother, Geof Mulder of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jim, and sister, Julie Mockerman. Per his wishes, Jack will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
