James L. Hansen's Obituary
James L. Hansen "Jim"? was born in Grand Rapids on February 20, 1940 to the late Harold and Sena Hansen and passed away on November 18, 2015. Jim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Emma "Punky"? Hansen; three children, Shari (Shawn) Dallo, James (Beth) Hansen, and Lori (Will) Hansen; step children, Thomas Lee (Ida) Brown and Sam (Karen) Brown; several grand and great-grandchildren; two siblings and several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by a son, Randy Hansen. Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he retired from Fruitport Public Schools. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Gathering will be held at the VFW Post 7729 located at 6285 E. Apple Ave. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, with Military Honors at 1:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
