James Henry Ransom's Obituary
James Henry "Cooter" Ransom was born in Muskegon on November 16, 1976 and passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020. He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Rowe and James Henry Ransom II; mother, Jeanette Ransom; father, Michael (Scottie) Ransom; siblings, Michael G. (Wilhelmina) Ransom, Shelly (Dennis) Alexander; longtime companion, Terri Cowles and her children, Kristina, Katie, Colby and Randall; several nieces and nephews including, Christopher Ransom, Autumn Ransom, Dorothy Easterling, Randall Johnson II, Jennifer Johnson, and Alyssa Alexander aunts, uncles and cousins along with his canine companion, Cloe.
Cooter was very mechanically inclined. He loved to tinker and could fix almost anything. He worked for Wylie Electric and Motors in Ferrysburg. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors.
According to his wish's cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at Living Life Church, located at 2808 S. Mill Iron Road, Muskegon, Michigan on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
Following the services the family will gather for a continuation of fellowship and luncheon at the Dog House Saloon located at 1940 East Laketon Ave. starting at 3:00 p.m.
