James A. Smith's Obituary
James Allen Smith, age 61, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. He was born in Muskegon on March 9, 1958 to Frank and Angeline Smith. Jim is survived by his wife of 18 years, Barb; children, Jamie and Jason Smith; 2 step-sons, Joe Felt and Nick Metheny; 10 grandchildren, Saadi, Shaan, Shaad, Donavan, McKynna, Destiny Star Lynn, Dylan, Decoda, Logan and Emma; sister, Doris Massey; sister-in-law, Cathy Golightly; brother-in-law, Joe Laban; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Smith and a sister, Mary Lewis. Jim worked at Quality Car Wash.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 46 Bar, 3015 E. Apple Ave. in Muskegon. Memorial contributions may be made to Barb Smith.
