James L. Westover's Obituary
Westover, James L. age 88 of Norton Shores, Michigan was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 10, 1930 to the late James and Vera (Leonard) Westover and passed away on November 29, 2018. James is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Beverly; children, Jim (Linda) Westover, Bill (Kris) Westover, Mike Westover; several grand and great-grandchildren. Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and longtime member of the American Legion. He was an Eagle Scout and received his pilots license at age 14. Jim was also a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, a past Commodore of the Mona Lake Boat Club and a Lieutenant with the Civil Air Patrol. Jim worked for various engineering firms over the years. According to his wish's cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mona Lake Boat Club at the Point, 372 Randall Rd. in Norton Shores. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
