Jamie Lyn Covert's Obituary
Jamie Lyn Covert died peacefully on May 26, 2017, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence in Muskegon, after a two-year battle with cancer.Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Covert, her father, Jack Covert, her sister Leri McClure, and her nephew, Tyler McClure. She is survived by her brother, Scot (Srey) Covert, Sister, Kelley (Jerry) Conrad, and nephews, Joel Covert, Jeff Covert, Jordan (Jamie) McClure, Joe (Holly) Conrad, and Alex Conrad.Jamie was born on June 10, 1960 in Lansing, Michigan, lived several years in Alaska, and settled for most of her life in Northport, MI, where she owned and operated the Northport Bay Dog & Cat Co. for many years. She loved the lakes and the people of Northport.In complying with Jamie's wishes, cremation has occurred and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
