Jan B. King's Obituary
Mr. Jan Brian King, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Jan was born in Hamilton, OH on May 11, 1942 to Norman and Cecelia (Burbank) King. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janet L. King; five children, Jan Marie Wilson of Drafter, MI, Randy (Denise) King of Muskegon, Tamra (Mike) Huck of Muskegon, Rick King of Muskegon and Kim King of TX; four step-children, John (Sydney) Wirrick of NE, Jeff (Darlene)Wirrick of GA, Y-vonne (James) Sikes of Grand Rapids and Tara Rainwater of Muskegon; 20 grandchildren, including Kristin Rainwater whom devoted her time and love to our father, grandfather and husband during his final days; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Stuart (Janice) King of Utah, Paul (Jessica) King of Twin Lake and Charles (Barbara) King of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. Jan had worked at Al Perri Furniture and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to either Harbor Hospice, Cat Tales Rescue at 1720 E. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49442, or a veteran's organization of your choice.
