Janice "Mother Love" Love's Obituary
Janice "Mother Love" Love, was born on June 30, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Franklin and Frances Carter and passed away at the age of 72 on May 24, 2024. She is survived by her three children, Mary Anderson, of Ohio, Sandra Love-Ough, of Nevada, and Amanda Higelmore, of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren, Charlie, Jarod, Alyssa, Summer, Marissa, and Levi; sister-in-law, Joan Carter, of Tennessee. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Carter.
Janice was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War and worked for Olivet College for many years. She loved Disney, fishing, and the Michigan State Spartans sports programs, especially MSU Basketball. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of a service, Janice had a Pinning Service in appreciation of her military service with many of her friends and family in attendance. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
