Jeffery Allan Wildfong was born on June 18,1986 and passed away November 15, 2023. Jeff is survived by his parents, Blair & Shelley Fahrlander and Thomas & Dawn Lathrop; his significant other, Ron Sweet; siblings, Aaron Fahrlander, Kyle (Sabrina) Fahrlander, Kristina Lathrop; nephews, Ezra Fahrlander, Chance Fahrlander, Bentley Hryskach; Grandmother, Katherine Jobes; Grandfather, Donald Fahrlander; many aunts, uncles, cousins & extended family.
Jeff loved cooking & baking. He was the "lead cook & bottle washer" at Bone Ends in Whitehall. He loved his job there. He was always excited to share with me something he learned from "the boss man". He loved creating new and exciting things for us to try.
Jeff loved Halloween more than any other holiday. He loved to dress up in various things every year. He was very creative in his efforts. But at Christmas Jeff and I would spend time baking, making jams & jellies, cookies & fudge, just to give it all away as gifts. Jeff loved hiking and camping with his nephew and his wonderful friends.
Jeff attended Montague High School and was a member of the marching band and drum line. His love of music carried on with him throughout his life. Jeff loved all kinds of music.
He loved his nephews beyond measure. They'd come over and have a guy night with Uncle Jeff. Playing video games and eating junk food. They adored him.
Jeff was an organ donor through Gift of Lift. It is a comfort to us that he will live on in others.
That was our Jeff, a giver, a helper, and the best friend anyone could ask for. He could find a friend in a room full of enemies. They would all be friends before you knew it.
A Celebration of Life will be held this Saturday November 25th, starting at 2 p.m. - ? at the VFW Post 3256, 9370 Walsh Rd in Montague.
