Jerome "Romie" G. Anderson's Obituary
Jerome "Romie" Anderson passed away Tuesday, June 20th, 2023.He was born on March 1st 1940 to Carl A. and Ann Marie (Reck) in Muskegon.
Romie graduated from Muskegon High School and joined the U.S. Navy thereafter.He was proud of his country.
In 1962 he married Janet Wagenmaker, who survives him, along with 3 children; Jon (Lynn) Anderson, Eric (Deana) Anderson, and Ann Marie (Lon) Cross. 6 grandchildren; Kylee (Cale), Adrian (Amber), Caden, Ashlyn, Lauryn, and Lindsay; one great grandchild, Anderson.
Romie was a proud member of the Lakeside Vets Club, Viking Lodge, and the Antique Model A Car Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sibling, Russell Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Viking Lodge, 3132 Lakeshore Drive in Muskegon on Friday, June 30th 2023 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the Parkinsons Association of West Michigan.
