Jerry David "Bare"? Nenis, age 75, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was born in Hesperia, MI on March 3, 1940 to Wacie and Doris (Medbury) Nenis. Jerry is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Char Holloway-Nenis; daughter, Tammy J. (Steve) Thornberry of WY; two sons, Jayson G. (Angie) Nenis of N. Muskegon and Jarod S. (Danielle) Nenis of Spring Lake; eight grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemary (Floyd) Beardsley of Muskegon and Barbara (Ralph) Anderson of KS; several nieces and nephews. He had worked as a self-employed carpenter, retiring in 2003. "Bare"? was an avid boater and a longtime member of Hartshorn Marina. He enjoyed spending time with his well-loved grandchildren. A Celebration of Jerry"s Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Hartshorn Marina beginning at 3:00 PM. Please dress comfortably. Memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice or Noah Project.
