Joanne L. Morrell's Obituary
Joanne Louise Morrell, age 72, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who was born in Saginaw, MI on June 6, 1944 to John and Beatrice (Baker) O'Polka. Joanne is survived by her four children, Ron (Anne) Morrell of Renton, WA, Ilene (Randy) Anderson of Muskegon, Daniel Morrell of Muskegon and Scott (Kelly) Morrell of Muskegon; grandchildren, Marci (fianc? Walter Weldon) Morrell, Mandi (Nate) Barber, Tony (Michelle) Morrell, Randy Anderson, Mark Anderson and Reese Morrell; great-grandchild, Brantley Anderson; two sisters, Sonny (Rick) Fuller of Muskegon and Kathy (Tim) Smith of Saginaw; two brothers, John (Jackie) O'Polka of Saginaw and Edward O'Polka of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Morrell; son, Joey Morrell; sister, Patricia Smeigley; brother, Joseph O'Polka. Joanne enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was like a second mother to her granddaughter, Reese. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lakeside Eagles, 2355 W. Sherman Blvd. in Muskegon.
