John David Willacker's Obituary
John David Willacker, age 63 was born on May 21, 1959, in Muskegon, Michigan and passed away on February 27, 2023. John was preceded in death by his father, Harold J. Willacker; mother, Beverly Zagers; three brothers, James, Tom and Robert Willacker; two sisters, Joan Willacker and Barbara Walker. Surviving are two sisters, Nancy Darby and Carol Stewart; several cousins, nieces, nephews and housemates at the LSS Home.
John enjoyed listening to music, car rides to Lake Michigan, and visits to the Ice Cream Parlor. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services Whitehall Chapel, 816 South Mears Ave. Whitehall, Michigan on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service starting at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be next to his father in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Special Olympics. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Lutheran Social Services Home for the wonderful care given to John.
