Jon I. Deater's Obituary
Jon I. Deater was born on October 17, 1963, in Muskegon, Michigan and passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 57. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary (Stickles) Deater; his daughter, Patti; a brother in infancy; brother, Bruce Deater, sister, Jan Sunegal; step-daughter Holly Scanlon. He is survived by his wife of 37 ½ years, Judi Deater; stepchildren, Peg (Cliff) Dykman, Jay (Joy) Gould, Stacey (Kathy) Gould, Art Brosseit, Bobbi Jo Brosseit, Rob Brosseit, 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbie (Howie) VanHall, Brenda Nelson, Julie (Larry) Louzon; several nieces and nephews; along with his canine companion, Wolfi. Jon loved being on OTR Truck Driver.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Shoreline Memorial Services, 137 E. Laketon in Muskegon, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
