Jonathon D. Newberg's Obituary
Jonathon Douglas Newberg, 29, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of Jeffrey M. Newberg (Lenair Correll) and Terrie K. Annis (Chad). Jon attended Reeths Puffer High School.
One of Jon's favorite hobbies was collecting Jeeps and working on them. He enjoyed deer and duck hunting with his dad, sister, and uncles (Robert and Thomas Keena). He enjoyed going to concerts and festivals with his friends and spending time with family swimming and tubing down the river. Jon will be remembered for his funny stories that he would tell that would have everyone laughing, his sense of humor, his compassion for others, his helping hand and big heart.
He is survived by his children, Gage and Zoey Newberg; sister, Meaghan Newberg; brother, Cameron Annis; grandparents, Douglas (Carolyn) Benkert, Diane Mesler; aunts and uncles, Laurie Mesler, Craig Mesler, Jennifer Benkert and cousins.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Hathaway Lakes Community Building, 16927 Birchview Drive, Nunica, MI 49448. There will be a prayer session at the beginning of the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the children's college fund.
