Joseph J. Hughes' Obituary
Joseph J. Hughes, age 92, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was born in Muskegon on October 17, 1925 to James and Henrietta Hughes. Joseph is survived by his two daughters, Carol (David) Curtsinger of Muskegon and Kathy Hughes of Muskegon; two daughters-in-law, Anna Hughes of Muskegon and Emily Hughes of Muskegon; four grandchildren, Ricky, Rachel, Katie and Libby; two great-grandchildren, Brysyn and Alyna; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hughes; two sons, Bryan and Richard Hughes and by eight siblings.
Joseph was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and POW of World War II.
A Memorial Service will be held at Central Assembly of God Church, 896 Home Street in Muskegon on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday at the church.
