Joseph "Joe" Lewis Pennington's Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Pennington age, 50, was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 16, 1970 and passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann (Wisniewski) Misze and his father, Lewis Alford Pennington. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Katrina (Herbert) Pennington; step-children, Erica Herbert, and Brooke (Jeremy) Nieusma; step-grandson, Tilian Nieusma; siblings Shelley (Toby) Eyestone, Hope Sarber, and Bruce Cook; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, including Jodi Wiesniewski. Joe worked for Hydro-Tech Irrigation for 20 years. He loved all of his pets. He especially enjoyed Rock and Roll and Heavy Metal. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society.
