Joyce M. Fekken's Obituary
Joyce Marie Fekken, age 93, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. She was born in Rothbury, Michigan on June 28, 1928 to Herman and Anna Wagner. Joyce is survived by her two sons, William (Dee) Fekken and Gerrit Fekken both of Rothbury; 3 grandchildren, Barb Fekken, Pamela (Joe) Lalonde and Sarah (David) Neubauer; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willaim Wagner and Jim (Joyce) Wagner; sister, Carol Omans; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 2017.
Joyce had retired from New Era Canning Company after working for many years. She was a former PTA coordinator. Joyce had a sewing business and enjoyed teaching sewing through the Montague Public schools. She had attended Central Michigan University and Rothbury Community Church.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Tabernacle Church, 460 E. Tyler Road in Muskegon. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rothbury, Michigan.
