Judy Gross And I were teenaged pals at Camp Thunderhawk near Pierson.
She was an easy going, fun gal, and cute as she could be.
Years later Judy and Wayne Gotwalt came to visit my husband and I when we lived near Kalamazoo. We had met them at a gathering in Sparta a few weeks earlier and found a warm, friendly companionship with them.
After visiting, we just didn't get a revived friendship going because of the distance, but I thought of her often and wondered what had become of her.
I have fond memories of Judy and always considered her to be my friend - I have no idea what led to her death, but I am sure when she left this earth she slipped into the arms of Jesus - surely He was waiting for her by the Pearly
Gates.
