Judith K. Sherman's Obituary
Judith K. Sherman, age 83, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 3, 2024 after battling cancer.
Judy was born on January 11, 1941, in Muskegon to the late Albert T. and Helen A. (Pecak) Benovic. Judy worked for the Office of the Prosecutor for Muskegon County and retired from Howmet/Alcoa. Judy was currently working at Walmart in Whitehall and was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Montague.
Judy was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Gary Sherman, in 2018. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Melissa) Sherman, of Whitehall; stepdaughter, Christine (Sam) Noah, of Tuscan, Arizona; grandchildren, Autumn (Chadwick) Sage, and Wyatt (Alyssa Kolb) Sherman; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Elliott Sage.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be interred with her husband in Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Rothbury. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Erin Pettijohn M.D. and the staff of the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence for their loving care of Judith.
