Karen S. Salas' Obituary
Karen Sue Salas, age 63 was born in Muskegon on February 7, 1956 to the late Harold and Doris (Nichols) Golden and passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 63. Karen is survived by her husband of 19 years, John "BJ" Salas; her son, Roger Hughey Jr. of Muskegon; daughter, Amanda Hughey, of Twin Lake; siblings, Joanne White, of Muskegon, Leroy (Mary) Golden, of Muskegon, Sandy Wiggins, Geneva, Ohio, Cheryl (Kenneth) Cook, of Muskegon, and Colleen Golden of Muskegon. Along with her parents Karen was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Golden. Karen was an avid quilter and enjoyed working with arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her children during birthdays, holidays and family reunions. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Shoreline Memorial Services, Muskegon Chapel.
