Kenneth R. Rutkowski's Obituary
Kenneth Ronald Rutkowski, age 76, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 24, 1941 to Roman and Ethel Rutkowski. Ken is survived by his three children, Donna Rutkowski of Sarasota, FL, Ronald (Mary) Rutkowski of Fruitport and Robert (Vicky) Rutkowski of E. Lansing, MI; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole, Jeremy, Alivia, Michael and Brittany; 4 great-grandchildren, Mya, Ava, Madeline and Jax; sister, Phylis (George) Lyttle of Spring Lake; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Rutkowski.Ken worked for 30 years as a fireman for Fruitport Township and for 20 years as a carpenter for R.A.T. Construction. He was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 3666. Ken was a happy man who enjoyed a simple life. He always had a smile on his face that went along with his good sense of humor. A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Harvest Bible Chapel, 225 E. Exchange St. in Spring Lake.
