Kevin L. Mitteer's Obituary
Kevin Lane Mitteer, age 59, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was born in Shelby, MI on June 18, 1955 to Winfield and Margaret (Pelon) Mitteer. Kevin had worked as a farm hand at various places including Country Dairy in New Era. He is survived by his children, Devin (Josh) Vega of Muskegon, Nicholas (Karly) Mitteer of New Era and Travis Mitteer of Shelby; grandchildren, Lexis, Joshua and Elena Vega, Benjamin and Cameron Mitteer; two brothers, Bill (Judy) Dodson of Muskegon and Winfield Mitteer of Shelby; many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Jon Dodson. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at New Era Reformed Church, 4775 First St., New Era, MI on Saturday, September 27, 2014 with a brief time of remembrance being spoken at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to AA.
