Kristen Kaye Ryan's Obituary
Kristen Kaye Ryan (Harms) died peacefully and surrounded by family at home on September 16th in Muskegon, Michigan at the age of 51 after a courageous battle with cervical cancer.
Kristen was born on July 17, 1968 in Muskegon, Michigan. She married Darrin Ryan in 1994. Together they had two children, Kennedy and Lance and two grandchildren Charlotte and Christopher. Kristen would proudly talk about the places she lived throughout her life, from towns on the New England Coast, to back home in Michigan. Wherever she was, she just wanted to be near the water. Her family and friends will remember her as someone who was her happiest when she was listening to the waves at the beach, or at home entertaining and cooking for her family, their friends, and anyone else she could welcome in.
Kristen is survived by her husband Darrin, children Lance (Natalie) and Kennedy (Bryton); grandchildren Charlotte and Christopher.; father Jerry Austin, stepmother, Paula Austin; sister, Angela, and brother, Russell; mother-in-law, Ellen Ryan; brother-in-law, Tom Ryan; sister-in-law, Pat (Brad) McClain. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Harms and father-in-law, William Ryan.
A celebration of life will be scheduled in October.
