Larry Earl Chaney's Obituary
Larry Earl Chaney, age 66, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born in Lapeer, MI on July 10, 1960, son to Arthur and Faye Chaney. Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Penny; son, Jasen (Lisa) Chaney of Hesperia; stepchildren, John (Michelle) Couch of Sparta and Joanie (Mick) Latsch of Twin Lake; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Eric, Emily, Tanner, Briar, Nicholas and Brook; sisters-in-law, Cherie Ransom and Cindy Stidham, both of Muskegon. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother-in-law, Jim Newville.
Larry had worked as a tool and die maker, retiring from Class A Tool. He enjoyed nature and taking care of his animals. He was a supportive family man who enjoyed family-oriented activities.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wolf Lake Methodist Church, 378 Vista Terrace, Muskegon, MI.
