Larry D. Petznik's Obituary
Larry David Petznik was born on November 17, 1947 and walked on December 9, 2020 at the age of 73. Larry is survived by his wife, Rose of 10 years.
On May 15, 2010, Larry married Roseann Loonsfoot after 20 years together. Larry and Rose loved to spend time with their combined Family. They did most everything together including riding, camping, attending church, video games, their quiet time spent coloring and spoiling their beloved, spoiled rotten dog, Scooter.
Larry is also survived by his Mother, Violet Petznik; mother-in-law, Mary Loonsfoot; Children, Tammy (Scott) Kage of Topinabee, MI, Donnia DeHoag of Grand Rapids, MI, Angie Anderson of Muskegon, MI, Anne Tonkin of Croton, MI, Andrea Petznik of Muskegon, MI, Sean Petznik of New Mexico and many Beloved Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; siblings, Dan (Lois) Petznik, Lenny (Elaine) Petznik, Lauri (Tony) Clay, Jean (Russ) Wierenga, Bob Loonsfoot, Allen (Rayetta) Loonsfoot, Vickie (Art) Frank, Wayne (Florence) Loonsfoot, Karen Selby, Kathy (Ken) Curl, Cindy (Jerry) Curtis, Michael (Rhonda) Loonsfoot, Christine Loonsfoot, Dawn Loonsfoot, Tim (Kelly) Loonsfoot and Bill (Leah) Stein of Ohio. Larry was preceded in death by his father, David Petznik; father-in-law, Virgil Loonsfoot; his son, Raymond W. Anderson and his brothers: Michael Petznik and Donald Petznik; brothers-in-law Ron (Julie) Murray and Al (Karen) Selby and his first wife, Pam, mother of his three children and Bumper, his dog.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and member of the VFW & the American Legion. Larry was a lifelong member of the Wright Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was a greeter. He retired from Agape Plastics in 2012 where he worked as a Maintenance Journeyman.
Larry loved riding his Harley, competition mud-running in his younger years and spending time with his Family & friends; he was loved by all who met him. He was fun-loving, adventurous & loved his sweets. He loved fishing, but would always catch & release; he loved hunting and spending time with his brothers at deer camp which was a Petznik tradition.
A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be held at the Wright Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 16429 40th Avenue, Coopersville, Michigan 49404, on Sunday, May 2, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
