Laura J. Hammond's Obituary
Laura J. Hammond, age 59 was born on January 23, 1961 in Muskegon and passed away at home on September 27, 2020. Laura was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Chambers. Survivors include her father, Robert Chambers; children Callie and Alex; grandchildren, Taylor, Harley, Anthony and Hayden; siblings, Janene (Tom) Engelhard, Larry (Mindy) Chambers, Kathy (John) Goven; and Mari Kennedy; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Laura was a sweet, loving, and kind. She always had heartfelt hugs and positive uplifting words for those she loved.
Laura enjoyed Bruce, plants, gardening, stones, crystals, and never left a crossword puzzle unfinished. She was a longtime Red Wings fan. Laura especially enjoyed car rides and conversations with her dad, sharing her humor and wit.
Laura will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
A family viewing and cremation have taken place. A celebration of Lauras life will be held at a later date.
