Lee Stoltzfus' Obituary
Alvin L. Stoltzfus, age 94, passed away on February 25, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1930, in Mio, Michigan to Jacob and Lydia Stoltzfus. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter, Kimberly, and a brother, Eli. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Walda; children, Bonnie Stoltzfus, Rock (Jacki) Stoltzfus, Jodi (Ron) Sheveland, Deb (Scott) Crafard, Karen (Ed) Breitenbach; grandchildren, Megan (Josh) Ries, David (Sarah) Stoltzfus, Katie (Caleb) Tipton, Luke Sheveland, Jessica Sheveland, John (Emily, his fiancé) Breitenbach, Mark Breitenbach, Mason Crafard, Wesley Crafard; and four great-grandchildren, Jenna, Skylar, Maddie, and Baby Tipton who is "on her way" and sisters Katie Borkholder and Betsy Oaks.
Lee retired from Muskegon County Department of Equalization. His many interests include baseball, softball, golf, tennis, volleyball, reading, yard work/gardening, and the Detroit Tigers. His heart for service was evident in all he did, including volunteering with multiple organizations and serving in the church.
Lee and Walda attend Bridge Bible Church, Dalton Campus, located at 3777 Holton Road, Muskegon, Michigan where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Paul Austin officiating. Interment will be in East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Families Manor, 2330 Riverwood Drive, Twin Lake, Michigan 49457 or Hospice of Michigan.
