What a amazing women. Im so glad I got to know her. Being she was my brother inlaws mom ( Gordon ) . one never knows the background of a person. And the job she performed. Her looking for cement airplanes, I knew her as a school teacher. I remember one of her grand daughter Kelly would call her Bookie gramma. And her other grand.daughter Kristi would call her Owie gramma. She would see bandaids on her finger or arms. Now she is in Heaven with her husband and son and with Jesus.
She was always so sweet and ready for a hug when I saw her at church. Our prayers are with you all.
Aunt Leona was a pillar of faith that lived a good long life. We look forward to seeing her again in that better place with Elwyn & Gordy. Our sincerest condolences to her immediate family.
Leona lived in my apartment building a while ago. She was a very independent lady and very well liked. She certainly will be missed. God Bless her family.
