Lillie Banner Hunter, AKA COOKIE, age 63 was born on May 12, 1954 and passed away September 12, 2017 at 5:20 p.m. at her home in Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles Hunter; mother, Anna O'Conner and father George O'Conner; brothers Jean Shaw, and Jimmy O'Conner. She is survived by her children, George and Mary Hunter, Thina Hunter, Charles Hunter andMelinda Pugh, Stella and Kristen Hunter, Alena Hunter; grandchildren Quinncellia Hunter, Justyce Hunter, Tyler Hunter, George Hunter Jr., Alyssa Hunter; sister Anna Miller AKA Elaine. Funeral services to be determined. Family will notify when arrangements are made. She will be joining her husband at the North Holland Cemetery. Her cremains reside at home with her loving daughter Stella Hunter and family until then. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She always knew when you were sad and always knew how to make you smile. Everyone that knew her loved her. She was family to many and friends to all. We are having a memorial dinner on October 22, 2017 at the Holland Dennys at 5 p.m. Please contact the family for more details.
