Loletta Ann Huntley's Obituary
Loletta "Ann" Huntley, age 63, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She faced every step of her journey with remarkable strength and determination - a true testament to the incredible woman she was.
Born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan, Ann spent her life surrounded by the people and community she loved. She also cherished her time in Georgia, where she lived briefly and visited often, always enjoying the memories she made there.Ann was blessed with two sets of parents who shaped her life in meaningful ways: her birth parents, John Herzhaft and Sharon Kubicek, and the parents who lovingly raised her, Roy and Elaine Phillips. She is survived by her siblings Chris Kubicek, James Kubicek, and John Herzhaft, and is also remembered by her ex-husband, Bryan Huntley.
The greatest joy of Ann's life was her family. She was a devoted mother to Tabitha (Robert Mann) Huntley and Rachel (Howard Bordeaux) Cowles, and the most enthusiastic, adoring grandmother to Kamren, Tanner, Taya, Ella, and Harper. She shared many years with Rand Laase, who was her ride-or-die through countless adventures over the last 18 years.
Ann had a vibrant, adventurous spirit. She loved camping, bonfires, taking Harley trips, and playing cards - a skill she mastered well. With a need for speed and a love of laughter, she was happiest surrounded by friends, sharing stories, and creating memories.
Her true passion was showing up for her kids and grandkids in everything they did. She was their number-one fan at every game, event, or activity. You always knew Ann was there - whether by the cheers she created or the unmistakable sound of the horn she proudly brought along.
What made Ann truly unforgettable was her heart. She would do anything for anyone, always ready to help and always making people feel special, seen, and loved. Her strength, kindness, and warmth touched every life she encountered."11:11, make a wish." A small tradition she loved - and a reminder to all who knew her to pause, hope, and cherish the moment.
A celebration of Ann's life will take place in the new year, with the exact date to be announced.
